Homewood and Alpine Meadow in Tahoe

I spent my last weekend in Tahoe. I went to snowboard in Homewood on Sat, and Alpine Meadow on Sun.
The conditions were kind of rough in both resorts until it snowed heavily in Alpine Meadow on Sun.
In Alpine, It was especially icy on the right side(facing downhill) off the Lakeview lift.
I saw a scaring accident in Alpine. when you get off the Summit Six chair lift and turn left, there's a little flat trail that leads to the access to Alpine Bowl. Along the way of the flat trail, there were poles and ropes that block off the access to the more steeper, and icier terrain.
This girl was talking to her friend while snowboarding near the edge. All the sudden, I saw her trying to grab a pole to stay on the trail. But the pole was loose, and she fell off the edge. OMG. It shocked everyone around there. Her friend snowboarded down to check her out. Fortunately, she looked OK. She did wear a helmet.
When we were out of the Alpine Meadow's parking lot, it was raining heavily. It's bad for resorts when it rained. It's good for us leaving Tahoe because traffic would have been really slow if it were snowing. But there was still traffic congestion along HW 80 in Sierra.
Let's see how beautiful Homewood is.
