Plan for Scuttlelicious 0.2.1

Here's my plan for Scuttlelicious 0.2.1

  • fetch user's recent popular tags and display them
  • restore the display of a progress dialog when a bookmark is posted to server(this was in versions prior to 0.2, but I removed it. Now I regret the decision because the posting can "freeze" Firefox if the connection to the bookmarking server is slow)
  • automatically notify users that an update is available through Firefox's extension window

Please let me know if you have any suggestion.

My scuttle site is hosted in DreamHost.com and it seems that DreamHost don't support http auth. So the scuttle api can't be used and can't use the extension to store bookmark.

Maybe it's because you have CGI turned on for PHP. See here and here for discussions.
